New Resource: Open Education Getting Started Guide
One of the clearest takeaways from our National Needs Assessment Survey was that the open education field offers a wide range of rich resources and support for open education work. This abundance can at times make it difficult for practitioners to know what resources and communities are available to guide and support this work. Since launching our first set of resources, one of the most frequent requests we’ve received from the community is to create a “starter guide” that links out to some of the top resources that support open education work.
Open Education: Getting Started Guide provides a list of top resources in each of the nine key categories of open education identified by our national survey. While it only represents the tip of the iceberg for all of the amazing activities available throughout the open education field, we hope it provides a useful starting point for engagement. The guide is meant to be a living document that will be kept up to date to reflect new resources as they are published.
