The Open Education Association was formed through a collaborative process involving many people and organizations. Its primary programmatic leadership is by the Steering Committee, comprised of representatives of the open education field. The association also has a fiduciary Board of Directors and staff support from SPARC, funded by the William & Flora Hewlett Foundation. More information is available in the Governance Roadmap.
