Working Groups
The Open Education Association’s Working Groups are time-bound, member-driven groups designed to advance key program goals and expand opportunities for members to contribute meaningfully to the association’s work. Each group has a defined scope and deliverables, and all members are welcome to follow along, join sessions, and stay connected.
Code of Conduct Working Group
The Code of Conduct Working Group is responsible for developing a code of conduct for the Open Education Association, covering all Association spaces, including the Open Education Conference. This includes reviewing existing models from across the open education field and adjacent communities, defining the scope and core elements the code of conduct must address, and producing a complete draft for review and finalization by the Association's board.
Recognition Working Group
The Recognition Working Group advises the association on how to support and advance recognition for members. This includes developing a shared understanding of what meaningful recognition looks like across the field, identifying existing efforts and gaps, and producing a concrete program or set of recommendations for what the association is uniquely positioned to offer its members.
