Listening Sessions for National Priorities
The best way to be part of the process to choose national priorities for open education is to join—or host—a listening session. Listening sessions are interactive virtual events designed to engage open education community members in discussion about proposed priorities, brainstorm additional ideas, and map work that is already underway. The Open Education Association would love the opportunity to collaborate on hosting a listening session for your group or community. You choose the date, time, and audience, and we’ll provide a Zoom link, toolkit, and facilitation support. Sessions will follow a standard structure that begins with introducing the approach to national priorities, engages the group in discussion about potential priority ideas, and ends with optional breakout discussions to brainstorm action plans and map existing work.
Anyone who is interested in engaging in a conversation with your community about the national priorities process is welcome to organize a listening session informally.
