New Resource: Open Education Glossary

One of the consistent themes we hear from people new to open education is that the language can feel overwhelming. Terms, acronyms, and concepts are often used without explanation, making it harder to fully engage with the work and conversations happening across the field.

To help address this, we are introducing a new resource, the Open Education Glossary. This reference covers key terms, organizations, platforms, and concepts used across open education landscapes. This glossary covers topics ranging from foundational ideas to broader educational concepts shaping the field. It offers a shared starting point for understanding the language of open education, whether you're just getting started or looking to align on common terminology. Open the glossary in Airtable to search or filter for terms. Don't miss the links column, where you can learn more about the terms.
