New Resource: Open Education Funding Guide

Funding questions come up constantly across the field, whether it's a first-time grant seeker trying to figure out where to start or a practitioner trying to build a more deliberate sustainability strategy. The landscape shifts often enough that it's easy to feel behind.

To help, we created the Open Education Funding Guide, a practical resource covering how to think about funding before pursuing it, where to look, how to build relationships with funders, how to write a strong proposal, and how to manage the work once the money arrives.

The guide draws on a June 2026 webinar on funding strategies for open education, featuring a presentation by Cailyn Nagle from the Michelson 20MM Foundation and a panel discussion with Amber Angel from the ECMC Foundation, Amanda Hurford from PALNI, and Paola Santana from the Glendale Community College Foundation.
