The Open Education Conference is an annual convening for sharing and learning about open educational resources, open pedagogy, and open education initiatives. This engaging event brings together over 1,600 educators and open education advocates in-person and online to collaborate, support, and drive strategies for education that are accessible, affordable, and reflective of the learners they serve.

As the conference’s 23rd annual gathering, OpenEd26 be held in a fully online setting, with plans to return as a hybrid event in 2027.
